Double-sided branding. Zero coating to chip or peel.
Introducing our Double-Sided Sublimation Acrylic Blanks. Unlike cheaper extruded acrylics or coated substrates, we use premium 3mm Virgin Cast Plexi (White).
Because this is high-grade Cast Acrylic, it is naturally sublimation-ready. The heat allows your image to penetrate deep into the plastic surface itself, rather than sitting on a top layer. The result? A vibrant, permanent print on both the front and back that is incredibly durable.
📦 What’s Included
-
Material: 3mm Virgin Cast Acrylic (PMMA) – Solid White.
-
Surface: High Gloss (Uncoated & Naturally Sublimation Ready).
-
Protection: Protective film on BOTH sides (Must remove before pressing!).
-
Quality: Laser cut with polished edges for a professional finish.
⚡ How It Works (Double-Sided)
These blanks are Opaque White, meaning you cannot see through them. This allows you to print different designs on the front and back.
-
Design: Create two designs (Front & Back).
-
Mirror: You must MIRROR (flip) both print files.
-
Prep: Remove the protective plastic film from BOTH sides.
-
Press: Because this is raw Cast Acrylic, the dye bonds chemically with the plastic. Press one side, let it cool flat, then press the other.

-
Corporate Gifting: Branded items with Logo (Front) + Web Address (Back).

-
Compatibility: Works with standard sublimation inks and papers.
🔥 Printer & Press Guidance
Cast Acrylic requires careful heat management to prevent warping. Always test first.
-
Recommended Temp: 180°C - 195°C.
-
Time: 60 - 70 seconds per side (Medium pressure).
-
Paper Removal: Peel paper hot/warm.
-
Cooling (CRITICAL): Acrylic softens when heated. You MUST place the blank under a heavy flat weight immediately after pressing each side to ensure it cools perfectly flat.
⚠️ Important Notes
-
No Coating: This works because it is CAST acrylic. Do not try this on Extruded acrylic (XT), it will not work.
-
Protective Film: Remove film from both sides before pressing.
-
Cooling: If your item is slightly bent after pressing, it is not defective—it just needs to be weighted down while cooling.
