Elevate your corporate gifting, premium event stationery, and commercial displays with our heavy-duty 5mm Sublimation Acrylic Blanks. Engineered specifically for professional print shops and agencies, these blanks deliver a high-end, waterproof finish that standard MDF boards simply cannot match.

✨ The 3D "Glass Effect" Finish
These blanks are manufactured from pristine 5mm thick clear cast acrylic and feature a specialized matte white poly-coating strictly on the reverse side. When sublimated, your ink embeds perfectly into the back coating. Viewed from the front, the 5mm clear acrylic acts as a protective lens, creating a stunning, high-gloss 3D depth that mimics expensive heavy glass.

🏆 Why Print Professionals Choose This Blank:

  • The Premium Upgrade: The ultimate substrate for high-ticket corporate awards, hospitality tags, and VIP event signage.
  • Weather & Water Resistant: Unlike cheap coated MDF that swells and chips at the edges when exposed to moisture, our cast acrylic remains structurally flawless.
  • Flawless Laser-Polished Edges: Cut in-house on our industrial laser suite for perfectly smooth, glass-like edges every single time.

⚙️ Commercial Pressing Specifications

To achieve a flawless, high-definition transfer without warping or edge fracturing, please adhere to the following technical guidelines:

  • Preparation: Remove the protective film from BOTH sides of the acrylic blank prior to pressing.
  • Artwork Setup: NO MIRRORING NEEDED. Print your design as-is.
  • Placement: Position your printed transfer onto the matte white side of the blank, facing up. Secure with minimal heat-resistant tape (avoid taping directly over the edges to prevent pressure marks).
  • Temperature: 180°C
  • Time: 80 Seconds
  • Pressure (CRITICAL): Light to Medium. Do not use excessive/heavy pressure, as this will cause stress fractures, cracking on the edges, and dimensional distortion. Always use a protective silicone sheet on your bottom platen.

Post-Press Cooling Protocol:

Acrylic becomes highly malleable under 180°C heat. Immediately upon opening the press, transfer the hot blank and its silicone paper to a perfectly flat, smooth surface. Place a heavy, flat weight (such as a thick book or metal plate) evenly on top of the blank while it cools to room temperature. This guarantees the acrylic remains perfectly flat and rigid for your client.
